Malawian President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera attends the 16th US Africa Business Summit in Dallas, Texas, from May 6-7, 2024, aiming to foster business partnerships and court foreign direct investments. Chakwera also holds bilateral talks with US leaders to strengthen Malawi-USA cooperation and discuss post-disaster response plans. After the summit, he visits Nairobi, Kenya, to address the Africa Fertilizer and Soil Summit before returning to Malawi on May 10.
