Japan's Moon Sniper lander, or SLIM (Smart Lander for Investigating the Moon), has survived three lunar nights on the Moon, despite not being designed for such harsh conditions. Launched by JAXA, the lander has continued to take and transmit images after each lunar night and is surprising experts with its resilience. Experts are closely monitoring the spacecraft's condition to identify components that may deteriorate over time as it experiences more lunar day and night cycles.
