A fire broke out in a Calgary duplex, starting in the bathroom; no injuries reported.
On Thursday evening, a fire broke out in a southwest Calgary duplex on Paliswood Road S.W., starting in the upstairs bathroom shower. The resident called 911 and tried unsuccessfully to extinguish the fire with an extinguisher. Firefighters conducted both an interior attack and used aerial equipment, with no injuries reported. Renovations were underway at the home. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
