Expedia Group lowers 2024 revenue growth forecast due to Vrbo and B2C underperformance.
Online travel agency Expedia Group lowered its full-year revenue growth forecast for 2024 to mid- to high-single-digit top-line growth due to slower recovery in its Vrbo vacation rental booking brand and underperformance in its business-to-consumer (B2C) segment.
The company posted a quarterly adjusted profit of 21 cents per share and total revenue of $2.89 billion, an 8% increase from the previous year.
Shares dropped by approximately 8% after the announcement.
