A new Dushanbe-Baku flight route is set to launch this year, with a test flight already completed. The route will provide a direct connection between the capitals of Tajikistan and Azerbaijan, and the visa-free regime between both countries allows citizens to stay in each other's territories for up to 90 days without a visa. In Q1 2024, Azerbaijan received an 84% increase in tourists from Central Asian countries compared to the same period in 2023.
