Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrests NTPC Senior Manager Vijay Kumar in Mumbai for allegedly accepting Rs 8 lakh bribe to pass bills. The complaint was filed by the vice-president of an advertising company, who claimed Kumar demanded the bribe in exchange for approving bills worth Rs 40 lakh. The bills were related to the installation of booths for NTPC in Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Puducherry.
