Canada recorded a C$2.3 billion ($1.7 billion) goods trade deficit in March, the widest since June 2023, and a downward revision of the country's trade surplus to C$476 million in February from C$1.39 billion previously. Total exports fell 5.3% in March to $62.6 billion, while imports decreased 1.2% to $64.8 billion. Exports of unwrought gold and metal and non-metallic mineral products saw significant decreases in March.
