Alexis Wright wins Stella Prize for the second time with 'Praiseworthy', a 700-page novel exploring Indigenous life in the face of climate change and government ineptitude. The New York Times described 'Praiseworthy' as "the most ambitious and accomplished Australian novel of this century". Wright becomes the first author to win the $60,000 Stella Prize for Australian women's writing twice.
