ADB mission commends Pakistan's FBR on DRM success and agrees to collaborate on digital tax administration.
The ADB mission met with FBR leadership in Pakistan, praising the success of the Domestic Resource Mobilization Program (DRM) and $300m disbursed. FBR shared plans for digital transformation, focusing on automating processes and digitalizing the economy. Both parties agreed to collaborate on the Digital Tax Administration Project, aiming to reduce compliance costs and expand the tax base.
