15-year-old wheelchair user Tomas Woods, a WCMX world champion, was forced to crawl up a flight of plane stairs after British Airways lost his specialist chair and spare on a £1,500 flight. Woods, who suffers from Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, had to "bum shuffle" up internal steps after a broken jet bridge. The incident occurred when Woods returned from California, where he was training with his coach.
