23-year-old US defender Sergino Dest tore his ACL, ruling him out of the Copa America.
US defender Sergino Dest will miss the Copa America after confirming he tore his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) during training with his Dutch club, PSV Eindhoven. The 23-year-old, who is on loan from Barcelona, will undergo surgery and will be out for an extended period, ruling him out of the tournament taking place in the US from June 20th to July 14th. Dest has earned 33 caps for the US Men's National Team since 2019.
