The Modern Family star told People that, as a mother to her 32-year-old son, Manolo, she felt it was not fair to bring a child into the world with their marriage the way it was. Vergara also shared that she respects those who want to be mothers after 50, but she didn't think her career, lifestyle, and marriage situation would have allowed her to give a child the best possible upbringing.
