48-year-old Kentucky State Police (KSP) Trooper Jonathan Johnson, a nine-year veteran, died in an off-duty motorcycle crash on Tuesday. Johnson, who had previously served at the Madisonville and Bowling Green posts, was assigned to Muhlenberg County. Governor Andy Beshear and KSP Captain Derek Smith expressed condolences for the family, and funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date. Johnson is survived by his wife and two children.
