UK government clarifies that NS&I Premium Bonds funds flow to the National Loans Fund.

The UK government clarified that funds from National Savings and Investments (NS&I) Premium Bonds flow to the National Loans Fund (NLF), the government's main borrowing and lending account. The NLF uses the funds to manage cash needs on an aggregate basis, with no separate account or rate of return for Premium Bonds. This allows HM Treasury to manage Exchequer cashflows in a cost-effective manner.
