Study in PLOS ONE shows that combining time-restricted eating and high-intensity functional training improves body composition and cardiometabolic health more than either method alone.
A study published in PLOS ONE suggests that combining time-restricted eating with high-intensity functional training may enhance improvements in body composition and cardiometabolic health more than either method alone. Researchers at the University of Sfax, Tunisia, found that a group following a time-restricted eating plan and high-intensity functional training experienced more significant changes in body composition and cardiometabolic parameters than those following diet or exercise plans individually. The combination of diet and exercise led to more favorable changes in fat-free mass and blood pressure.
