An RCMP officer conducting a traffic stop on Highway 2 in High River, Alberta narrowly avoided injury when an unmarked police vehicle was struck by a passing Ford F350. The officer was parked behind a vehicle that had been pulled over, with emergency lights activated, when the accident occurred. The driver of the Ford F350 claimed not to have seen the vehicle or its flashing lights. No injuries were reported.
