Amazon CEO Andy Jassy violated US federal labor law, according to a National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) judge, for comments he made in 2022 about the downsides of unionization. NLRB Administrative Law Judge Brian Gee ruled that Jassy's statements to CNBC, Bloomberg, and The New York Times threatened employees with reduced empowerment and slower workplace improvements if they chose a union.
