Payroll company ADP reported that the US added 192,000 new private sector jobs in April, surpassing the initial March report of 184,000 jobs added. ADP Chief Economist Nela Richardson noted that hiring was broad-based, with the service sector contributing 145,000 new jobs and goods production adding 47,000. Annual worker pay gains in April were 9.3% for job-changers and 5% for job-stayers.
