10,000 London taxi drivers sue Uber for £250m, accusing it of misleading TfL about operations and bypassing the central system.

10,000 London taxi drivers are suing Uber for £250m, accusing it of misleading Transport for London (TfL) about its operations between May 2012 and March 2018. The claim, filed by RGL Management on behalf of the black cab drivers, alleges that Uber allowed its drivers to accept bookings directly from customers, bypassing the central system used by minicab services. Each driver's claim could be worth up to £25,000. Uber denies the claims and states that it operates lawfully in London and is fully licensed by TfL.
