Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena has ordered the removal of 223 employees from the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) with immediate effect. The employees were allegedly appointed without permission by the then chairperson of the DCW, Swati Maliwal, according to news agency ANI. The order states that "large scale administrative and financial irregularities/violations have been observed in the functioning of DCW."
