Kenyan officials evacuated tourists from flooded Maasai Mara National Reserve due to Talek River overflow.

Kenyan officials began the evacuation of tourists marooned by flooding in the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve in Narok County. Tourist camps were flooded after the Talek River burst its banks, causing widespread destruction. Two helicopters have been deployed to rescue tourists and workers. All visitors and workers have been evacuated safely and transferred to nearby hotels and camps where there was no flooding.
