Disgraced film producer Harvey Weinstein appeared in a New York court for the first time since his rape conviction was overturned. His 2020 conviction was vacated due to a critical error made by the trial judge, who allowed testimony about unrelated sexual assaults by Weinstein. A retrial is being considered, and Manhattan District Attorney's Office plans to retry Weinstein if the accusers are willing to participate.
