Ghana's National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) disbursed GH¢170 million to mixed-tier healthcare providers to improve access to quality healthcare services for citizens. The funds, released on April 30, cover claims from January and February 2024 for lower-tier facilities and up to November 2023 for upper-tier facilities. This payment fulfills the NHIA's mandate and ensures the continuation of quality healthcare services for all citizens.
