GE T&D India secures order from PGCIL to build an STAMC in Odisha for OPTCL, for real-time grid monitoring and control.
GE T&D India Ltd, part of GE Vernova's electrification business, secures order from Power Grid Corp of India Ltd (PGCIL) to build a State transmission asset management center (STAMC) in Odisha for Odisha Power Transmission Corp Ltd (OPTCL). The STAMC aims to help OPTCL operate grid more efficiently through real-time grid monitoring and control. Upon completion, substations will be remotely controlled with advanced grid software solutions.
