500+ baby sea turtles, mainly endangered loggerheads, were washed ashore in a rare storm in South Africa. The aquarium in Cape Town, Two Oceans Aquarium, is stretched beyond capacity, caring for around 400 of the sick and injured turtles. The rest are sent to other aquariums to help distribute the load. Baby sea turtles usually fend for themselves from the moment they hatch on beaches and make their way to the ocean.
