DARPA's Manta Ray, developed by Northrop Grumman, is an uncrewed underwater vehicle (UUV) designed for long-duration, long-range missions, successfully completing full-scale in-water testing off the coast of Southern California. The vehicle boasts efficient gliding and multiple payload bays, with modular transport and assembly capabilities for rapid deployment worldwide. DARPA is working with the US Navy on further testing and integration of the technology.
