4th of July Fireworks return to Hudson River for Macy's 48th edition, shifting from East River.
The Macy's 4th of July Fireworks®, the nation's largest Independence Day celebration, returns to the Hudson River for the first time since 2013. The 48th edition of the fireworks will launch from barges on the Hudson River, providing prime viewing opportunities from Manhattan between West 14th and West 34th Streets, and in New Jersey. This marks a shift from the East River, where the fireworks were held for 11 years.
