Norway plans to initiate a new oil and natural gas project called Bestla in the North Sea, operated by Okea ASA, with an estimated $570 million investment. Scheduled to commence in H1 2027, the field contains 24 million barrels of recoverable oil equivalent and will be tied back to the existing Brage platform. The project aims to extend the life of the nearby Brage field and contribute to ongoing production in the North Sea.
