Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) arrested two brothers, Henry Ushie Odep, 34, and Emmanuel Ushie Odep, 23, for impersonating NSCDC FCT Commandant Olusola Odumosu on Facebook. The brothers operated a fake account and fraudulently used OPAy and Moniepoint accounts to defraud victims under false pretenses. The NSCDC launched an investigation after Odumosu alerted the public of a fraudulent Facebook account in September 2023.
