Joni Mitchell's "The Asylum Albums (1976-1980)" is set for release in June, featuring remastered versions of her albums "Hejira", "Don Juan's Reckless Daughter", "Mingus", and the 1980 double live album "Shadows and Light". The collection includes an essay by Meryl Streep and will be available in various formats, including digital, five-CD set, and a limited edition six-LP set with 5,000 copies. This release follows Joni's previous projects, "The Asylum Years (1972-1975)" in September 2022 and "Joni Mitchell Archives Vol. 3: The Asylum Years (1972-1975)" in October 2023. The next installment in the Archives series, "Joni Mitchell Archives Vol. 4", is expected later this year.
