Hill Aerospace Museum completes $22m expansion, adding 91,000 sq ft and showcasing iconic planes.
The Hill Aerospace Museum in Hill Air Force Base has completed a $22m expansion, increasing its indoor exhibition space by 70% with a 91,000 sq ft addition. The new L.S. Skaggs Gallery and Alexander Hall, funded by $15m from Utah lawmakers and $5m from private donations, officially opened to the public on April 29, 2024, showcasing planes like the U-2 "Dragon Lady", SR-71 "Blackbird", and F-22 "Raptor".
