The iconic French painting "Liberty Leading the People" by Eugène Delacroix, a symbol of the French Revolution, has been restored after a six-month process. Removing eight layers of varnish revealed a bright blue sky and more visible white smoke and dust in the artwork, sharpening original details. The painting, housed at the Louvre since 1874, will be displayed to the public from Thursday.
