The Indian National Congress (Congress) has chosen actor-turned-politician Raj Babbar as its candidate for the Gurgaon Lok Sabha seat in Haryana, completing the party's nominees for all nine seats it is contesting in the state. Babbar faces BJP leader Rao Inderjit Singh in the Gurgaon Lok Sabha seat. The Congress is competing in nine out of ten Lok Sabha seats in Haryana, with the Aam Aadmi Party receiving the joint INDIA bloc candidate for Kurukshetra seat.
