300 claimants join a $9.5M class-action lawsuit against Calgary Stampede over a serial sexual abuser working with teenage performers from the Young Canadians. The accused, Philip Heerema, admitted negligence and received a 10-year prison sentence in 2018. The Calgary Stampede has agreed to pay $9.5M in damages, and a judge will decide on June 28 if the settlement is approved.
