African lion Simba at Popcorn Park Animal Refuge in New Jersey passed away after a decade at the zoo.
🐅 Simba, a beloved African lion at the Popcorn Park Animal Refuge in Forked River, New Jersey, has passed away after a decade at the zoo. Simba arrived at the facility in 2014, along with three other big cats, after being cared for at a facility in Alabama. The lion was underweight when he arrived but recovered under the care of Popcorn Park staff. The zoo said Simba led a "very long and full life."
