19-year-old student Dipannita Das was found hanging at her rented accommodation at Ramnagar in Agartala. Das, from ICFAI University, was in her second semester of a course on dialysis. Police and her friends discovered her after she failed to answer the door for a long time and didn't respond to repeated calls. A 22-year-old female student named Pramila Jamle was also found hanging in her rented room in Indore, updating her social media status before attempting suicide.
