30-year-old Chalton Mason Lawson is charged with murder in the death of Patrick Te Tini Reweti, 49, whose body was found in a burnt-out car in Flaxmere, Hastings on March 26. Lawson is due to reappear in the High Court at Napier on June 21 on charges of murder and wilful damage. The Hawke's Bay Police are seeking information from people who may have seen a light-colored vehicle on Stock Rd/Irongate Rd on March 26 between 7.30 pm and 9 pm, as they may have seen the vehicle Reweti was found in.
