47-year-old Arizona man Bryce Tyrone Verhonich has been found guilty of negligently operating a jet ski at Lake Mead, causing the death of his passenger due to a lack of personal flotation devices and an engine cut-off switch lanyard. The incident occurred on June 30, 2022, when Verhonich made a sharp turn as conditions worsened, causing both of them to fall off the jet ski. Verhonich's passenger's body was recovered from Lake Mead on July 6 of the same year.
