Saskatchewan Government invests $400,000 in First Nations Natural Resource Centre to aid Indigenous job access.

The Government of Saskatchewan has announced a $400,000 investment in the Saskatchewan First Nations Natural Resource Centre of Excellence to help identify barriers faced by Indigenous peoples in the natural resource industry and develop strategies to connect them to jobs. The funding will support engagement efforts and inform the Centre's program delivery options, furthering the province's recently released Labour Market Strategy, which aims to increase Indigenous participation in the growing workforce.
