Police targeted three Pukekohe properties linked to Black Power in an ongoing investigation into burglaries across the Franklin area. As part of Operation Cobalt, search warrants led to the recovery of ammunition, cannabis, and stolen property. A man was arrested and charges were laid against him, with bail opposed. Investigators from Counties Manukau's South and Organised Crime teams, along with Operation Cobalt staff, continue to work on the case and further search warrants and arrests may be made.
