Perlis Mentri Besar Mohd Shukri Ramli was questioned by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) for nearly nine hours regarding allegations of abuse of power. His son and five others are being investigated for producing falsified documents to claim RM600,000 in 2022. Shukri Ramli was released on MACC bail after providing a statement. The investigation is ongoing.
