Penn State Health's Milton S. Hershey Medical Center has suspended its liver transplant program for a performance review by UNOS due to concerns about documentation and clinical processes. The suspension affects 63 patients and does not impact other transplant programs. This is the second pause in two years, following the Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network restoring the program to good standing in December.
