13 oil theft suspects arrested by Nigerian Navy, vessel MT SWEET MIRI investigated by EFCC for oil bunkering and AIS infractions.

EFCC in Lagos is investigating 13 oil theft suspects handed over by the Nigerian Navy. The suspects and their vessel, MT SWEET MIRI, were arrested for alleged oil bunkering and Automatic Identification System infractions. The vessel carried 1,322 metric tonnes of crude oil without legal documentation. The EFCC aims to bring those responsible to justice and deter others from engaging in such activities.
