Former Punjab Police ADG Gurinder Singh Dhillon has joined the Congress party after voluntarily retiring from service. Dhillon stated that he was impressed by Rahul Gandhi's leadership qualities and joined the party after interacting with him during the Bharat Jodo Yatra and Rahul Gandhi's service at the Golden Temple. Dhillon has served the state for nearly two decades as a police officer and plans to dedicate himself to the Congress party.
