Delta High Court orders Linda Ikeji to pay N30m in damages for libelous publication against Neo-Black Movement of Africa.
The Delta High Court in Effurun has ordered popular Nigerian blogger, Linda Ikeji, to pay N30 million in damages for a libelous publication against the Neo-Black Movement of Africa (NBM). The lawsuit, which also awarded N300,000 as cost of litigation, mandates Ikeji to retract the defamatory publication and refrain from making further damaging statements about the plaintiffs and other NBM members.
