The court, presided over by Special Judge Kaveri Baweja, rejected the second regular bail application of the former deputy chief minister and AAP leader, stating that the stage was not right to grant bail. Sisodia is accused of playing a key role in the formulation of the now-scrapped Delhi excise policy, which allegedly caused financial losses to the state. Both the CBI and the ED have opposed Sisodia's bail plea, and he will now appeal against the city court's order in the High Court.
