Arc, a unique browser with a collapsible sidebar and vertical tabs, is launching on Windows, aiming to compete with popular browsers like Chrome and Edge. Built on Chromium, it offers an "operating system for the internet" vision and is the first app to be brought to Windows using Apple's Swift development language. Arc for Windows integrates WinUI 3.0 and features split view and Peek, with plans to develop an Android version called Arc Search.
