52-year-old woman charged with murdering a 79-year-old Wellington resident, Helen Gregory, also faces a fraud charge for obtaining over $1000 by deception. Arrested on February 11, she has not entered a plea and interim name suppression is in place until her next court appearance in May, alongside the murder charge. Police initially believed Gregory's death to be an isolated incident.
