30-year-old rapper Sik-K (Kwon Min-sik) voluntarily turned himself in to South Korean police in January over drug use, admitting to marijuana possession and consumption. Sik-K was not detained but was sent to the Seoul Western District Prosecutors' Office with a recommendation for indictment on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act. His lawyer clarified that his disoriented state during the surrender was due to lack of sleep after being discharged from a hospital, not immediate drug use prior to his police visit.
