New Zealand's most decorated Paralympian, Sophie Pascoe, withdrew from the Paris Paralympics to focus on her newborn child. The 31-year-old swimmer, who has won 19 medals including 11 golds at four Paralympics, announced the birth of her first child earlier this month. Pascoe remains committed to contributing her experience and knowledge to the New Zealand team in future preparations.
